These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Dream Jackpot website, mobile applications, and all related services (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, Responsible Gaming Policy, and any additional rules or policies referenced herein. Please read these Terms carefully before using our Services.

1. Who We Are, These Terms of Service, and Other Applicable Terms

1.2 Please read, understand, and agree to these Terms of Service before using the Site, Services, and/or Software. These Terms outline the legal agreement between you and us and specify other rules and policies governing our relationship. Ensure you also review and understand all Additional Rules and Policies (see Section 1.4 below), which, together with these Terms, form the “Agreement.

1.3 The Agreement is a legally binding contract between you and us. By registering for a Player Account or using the Services and/or Software, you agree to abide by the Agreement, which governs your use of the Site, Services, and Software. If you disagree with any part of the Agreement, you must immediately stop using the Site, Services, and Software.

1.4 Not all legal terms are included in these Terms of Service; some are in separate documents to avoid excessive length. These documents are referenced and linked below and form part of the Agreement. They include:

  • Responsible Gaming Policy: Information on preventing compulsive gambling, setting self-limits, and self-exclusion.
  • Cash Out Policy: Guidelines on withdrawing real money from your Player Account.
  • Bonus Policy: Rules for Promotions, including General Rules, Casino Bonus Terms, Sports Bonus Terms, and restrictions on winnings.
  • Promotion Terms: Specific terms for individual Promotions.
  • Sports Betting Rules: Found in Sections 21, 22, and 23, governing sports betting Services, payout limits, and fraud-related terms.

1.5 In addition to the Agreement, review our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use your personal information.

1.6 IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THE AGREEMENT, YOU MAY NOT USE THE SITE, SERVICES, OR SOFTWARE.

1.7 We reserve the right to suspend, modify, remove, or add to the Site, Services, and/or Software at any time.

2. Definitions and Interpretation of the Agreement

In this Agreement, the following capitalized terms have the meanings below:

  • Agreement: As defined in Section 1.4.
  • Additional Rules and Policies: As defined in Section 1.4.
  • Brand: Refers to Hopa.com and other brands we operate.
  • Duplicate Player Account: As defined in Section 5.1.
  • Error: As defined in Section 12.3.
  • Fraudulent Activity: As defined in Section 6.3.
  • Inactive Player Account: As defined in Section 5.2.
  • Intellectual Property: As defined in Section 15.2.
  • Interruption: As defined in Section 12.3.
  • Gambling Commission: The Gambling Commission of Great Britain.
  • Malfunction: As defined in Section 12.3.
  • Maximum Win Per Bet: As defined in Section 22.1.2.
  • Maximum Winnings Per Month: As defined in Section 22.1.3.
  • Prohibited Practices: As defined in Section 6.2.
  • Promotions: Bonuses, special offers, or promotions offered via the Site.
  • Site: The website at Hopa and its related mobile/tablet applications.
  • Site Content: As defined in Section 15.3.
  • Software: The software used to provide the Services through the Site.
  • Services: Online gambling products and services (including Promotions) available through the Site.
  • Player Account: An account opened by a user to access the Software and/or Services.
  • Unlawful Activity: As defined in Section 6.3.
  • us, we, our: As defined in Section 1.1.
  • Username and Password: The login credentials for your Player Account.
  • White Label Partner: An entity outside our corporate group that owns the Site operated by us.
  • you, your, yours: You, as the user of the Services, Software, and/or Site.

2.1 Terms like “including,” “such as,” or “for example” are illustrative and do not limit the preceding words.
2.2 Headings are for reference only and do not affect interpretation.
2.3 References to the singular include the plural, and vice versa, where context requires.

3. Eligibility and Verification Checks

3.1 The Site, Services, and Software are intended for users in the United Kingdom.
3.2 You must be at least 18 years old to gamble on the Site. Underage gambling is a criminal offense in the UK.
3.3 We will verify your age before allowing you to:

  • Deposit funds into your Player Account.
  • Wager real money or participate in Promotions.
  • Play free-to-play gambling games.

3.4 We will also verify your identity (name, address, and date of birth) before you can gamble.
3.5 You cannot gamble until we complete these verifications.
3.6 If we discover you are under 18:

  • Your Player Account will be closed.
  • All transactions will be voided.
  • Deposits will be refunded using the original payment method.
  • We may report the incident to regulatory authorities.

3.7 We may request additional documentation (e.g., ID, bank statements) to comply with regulatory requirements.
3.8 We may share your information with third parties to verify your age, identity, or payment details and may conduct credit checks.
3.9 Until verification is complete, we may restrict your Player Account, including preventing deposits, withdrawals, or access to Services.
3.10 Employees, directors, consultants, or agents of our company or its affiliates, as well as their relatives, are prohibited from using the Services during and for 24 months after their engagement.
3.11 You acknowledge the risk of losing money when gambling.
3.12 You may only access the Software and Services through your Player Account.
3.13 You may self-exclude from using the Services for a definite or indefinite period (see Responsible Gaming Policy).

4. Your Player Account and Confirmations

4.1 To use the Services, you must have an active Player Account.
4.2 By registering, you confirm and agree that:

  • You are at least 18 years old.
  • All details and documents provided are accurate and complete.
  • You will update your details promptly if they change.
  • You will use your Player Account for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
  • You will not use your account on behalf of another person.
  • You will only register one Player Account.
  • You will not share your Username and Password.
  • We are not responsible for unauthorized access unless due to our negligence.
  • You will notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
  • Funds in your Player Account do not earn interest.
  • You are responsible for paying all amounts owed to us.
  • You will not reverse or cancel deposits.
  • You will not use another person’s Player Account.
  • You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of your wagers.
  • You are responsible for any taxes on winnings.
  • You are responsible for your internet connection and device permissions.
  • You have not previously held a Player Account closed due to a breach of the Agreement.
  • You have not self-excluded or been excluded from gambling.
  • You will not place bets exceeding your Player Account balance.
  • You will not abuse Promotions or breach Bonus Policy terms.
  • You will not intentionally disconnect to disrupt gameplay.
  • You will not collude with other players.
  • You will not transfer funds between Player Accounts.

4.3 You confirm you have not self-excluded (e.g., via GAMSTOP). If we discover otherwise, we will close your Player Account and void all transactions.
4.4 We hold customer funds separately in a Maltese financial institution, providing medium protection under Maltese law.

5. Duplicate and Inactive Player Accounts

Duplicate Player Accounts
5.1 You may only have one Player Account per Brand. Additional accounts are “Duplicate Player Accounts,” which we will:

  • Close, leaving only the original account.
  • Void all unsettled or future bets.
  • Void Promotions and winnings obtained through the duplicate account.

Inactive Player Accounts
5.2 If you do not log in for 12 consecutive months, your account becomes “Inactive.”
5.3 We will attempt to contact you 30 days before classifying your account as Inactive. You may reactivate it by logging in.
5.4 Before classifying an account as Inactive, we will attempt to refund any remaining balance.
5.5 Once Inactive, we will deduct a £5 monthly administration fee until:

  • You provide updated payment details for a refund.
  • You reactivate your account.
  • Your balance reaches zero.

6. Prohibited Uses of the Services, Software, and Site

6.1 If we discover or suspect Prohibited Practices, Fraudulent Activity, or Unlawful Activity, we may take action as outlined below.
6.2 Prohibited Practices include:

  • Money laundering.
  • Depositing funds from illegal activities.
  • Using software, robots, or external aids with artificial intelligence.
  • Hacking or circumventing security measures.
  • Exploiting Errors, Malfunctions, or Interruptions.
  • Transferring funds or winnings with another player.
  • Practices causing us to breach legal or regulatory obligations.
  • Using the Services for commercial purposes.
  • Reverse engineering the Software or misusing Site Content.
  • Misusing inside information in sports betting.
  • Accessing the Site from outside the UK using a VPN or proxy.
  • Any material breach of the Agreement.

6.3 Fraudulent Activity includes:

  • Using stolen or unauthorized payment methods.
  • Actions intended to defraud us or others.
  • Using another person’s Player Account.
  • Opening multiple Player Accounts.
  • Colluding to gain an unfair advantage.
  • Dishonest or fraudulent behavior with bonuses or free games.
  • Repeated deposit/withdrawal patterns to exploit bonuses.
  • Any other fraudulent activity.

6.4 Unlawful Activity refers to illegal or criminal actions.
6.5 If we suspect Prohibited Practices, Fraudulent Activity, or Unlawful Activity, we will suspend your Player Account and investigate. If unresolved, we may close your account.
6.6 We may inform affiliates, authorities, and other operators of your actions.
6.7 If you suspect another user of such activities, report it to us immediately.

7. Closing Your Player Account

Closure by You
7.1 You may close your Player Account by contacting us at [email protected]. We will close it within 7 days.
7.2 If closure is due to gambling addiction concerns, inform us. We may attempt retention unless legally prohibited.

7.3 We may close your account with 14 days’ notice or without notice if:

  • We stop providing the Services or Software.
  • You engage in Prohibited Practices, Fraudulent Activity, or Unlawful Activity.
  • Required for legal or regulatory reasons.

7.4 We may restrict, suspend, or close your account to comply with legal or regulatory requirements.
7.5 If we stop providing the Services or Software, we will give reasonable notice.
7.6 On closure, you must stop using the Services and pay any amounts owed.

8. What Happens on Closure of Your Player Account

8.1 If you close your account, we will cancel open bets and refund your real money balance, subject to any withholding rights.

8.2 If we close your account, we will refund your balance unless:

  • You engaged in Unlawful Activity (no refund).
  • You engaged in Prohibited Practices or Fraudulent Activity (we may withhold funds).

8.3 If we close your account for such activities, we may inform our affiliates, who may also close your accounts with them.

9. Withdrawals, Payments, and Account Balances

9.1 You may withdraw real money deposits and winnings, provided:

  • All deposits are confirmed and not reversed.
  • We have completed verification checks.
  • There is no ongoing investigation into Errors, Malfunctions, or Prohibited Practices.

9.2 Cash-outs are subject to the Cash Out Policy.
9.3 Transactions are handled by us or third-party processors. We may conduct credit checks.
9.4 We do not accept certain payment methods (see Deposits Table and Cash Out Policy).
9.5 Payments/credits will use the same method as your deposits, where possible.
9.6 Deposits must come from a single payment source in your name. Credit cards are not accepted.
9.7 You are responsible for preventing unauthorized use of your payment methods.
9.8 Deposit limits may apply based on the payment method.
9.9 Some deposit/withdrawal methods incur fees (see the “Cashier” section).
9.10 Your Player Account balance includes real money and bonus funds. Casino bets use 50% real money and 50% bonus funds (if available). Sports bets use real money first, then bonus funds. Winnings are credited proportionally.

10. Complaints

10.1 Contact us at [email protected] to resolve complaints.
10.2 If unresolved within 8 weeks, you may refer the dispute to the Independent Betting Adjudication Service (IBAS).
10.3 The complaints process does not prevent you from filing a legal claim.
10.4 Your legal rights are unaffected by this process.

11. Limits on Our Liability

11.1 We are liable for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
  • Breach of your statutory consumer rights.
  • Any liability not excludable by law.

11.2 We do not guarantee:

  • The accuracy or reliability of the Services or Software.
  • That the Services or Software are error-free.
  • That defects will be corrected.
  • That the Services or Software will always be operational.

11.3 We are not liable for:

  • Your use or inability to use the Services or Software.
  • Errors, Interruptions, or Malfunctions.
  • Your breach of the Agreement.
  • Closure or suspension of your Player Account.
  • Suspension or modification of the Services or Software.
  • Third-party content accessed via the Site.
  • Internet or telecommunications service provider issues.
  • Content you upload to the chat facility.
  • Device-related issues.
  • Incorrect entries or data input errors.
  • Events outside our control (e.g., network failures, natural disasters).

11.4 Our maximum liability is:

  • The amount of the bet or stake in question.
  • £1,000 for any other liability.

11.5 We are not liable for compliance or non-compliance with regulatory obligations.

12. Errors, Interruptions, and Malfunctions

12.1 We cannot guarantee the Services or Software will always perform correctly.
12.2 Definitions:

  • Malfunction: A technical failure producing unintended results.
  • Error: A mistake (e.g., incorrect odds or payouts).
  • Interruption: A disruption in gambling transactions.

12.4 If a Malfunction credits your account with unintended winnings, we will void the transaction and withhold the winnings.
12.5 The same applies to Errors.
12.6 We aim to handle Interruptions fairly.
12.7 For betting, we may suspend markets, void bets, and return stakes.
12.8 For gaming:

  • If an Interruption occurs after your gamble is accepted, the results stand.
  • For single-stage events, we will return your stake.
  • For multi-stage games, we will restore the game to its last known state.
  • For progressive jackpots, we will restore values to pre-failure levels.

12.9 If you suspect an Error, Malfunction, or Interruption, stop using the Services and notify us immediately.

13. Your Responsibility to Compensate Us and Our Right of Set-Off

13.1 You must compensate us for losses caused by Prohibited Practices, Fraudulent Activity, or Unlawful Activity.
13.2 We may set off positive balances in your Player Account against amounts you owe us.

14. Amendments to the Agreement

14.1 We may amend the Agreement for commercial, security, legal, or customer service reasons. Changes take effect 14 days after publication.
14.2 We will notify you of material changes via your Player Account or email.
14.3 If you disagree with any amendment, you must stop using the Services and close your Player Account.

15. Your Use of Our Intellectual Property

15.1 You may only use the Site, Software, and content for personal, non-commercial purposes.
15.2 All logos, trademarks, and designs belong to us, our affiliates, or licensors.
15.3 We own all Site Content, including Software, images, videos, and text.
15.4 Using the Services does not grant you rights to our Intellectual Property or Site Content.

16. Your Use of the Chat Feature

16.1 The chat facility is for recreational and socializing purposes. Do not:

  • Make sexually explicit, offensive, or abusive statements.
  • Advertise or promote other websites or companies.
  • Make false or damaging statements about us or the Services.
  • Collude with other users.

16.2 Be aware that personally identifiable information shared in chat can be collected by others.
16.3 Suspicious chats may be reported to authorities.

17. Promotions

17.1 We may offer Promotions via the Site. See the Bonus Policy and Promotions page for details.
17.2 Participation in Promotions is subject to the Promotion Terms, Bonus Policy, and these Terms of Service.
17.3 We may withhold Promotions or winnings if you breach the Agreement.
17.4 We will not impose additional restrictions on sports betting stakes during free bet promotions unless required by law.
17.5 We may prevent you from participating in Promotions for legal or regulatory reasons.

18. BuyWin Services

18.1 BuyWin Services have a high RTP and charge a fee per bet.
18.2 The BuyWin Fee is displayed before you start and is deducted from your Player Account.
18.3 If you use bonus funds, the fee is deducted from your bonus balance (if available).

19. Other Important Legal Terms

19.1 We may transfer our obligations under the Agreement to another entity without notice.
19.2 If any part of the Agreement is invalid, the remaining terms remain in force.
19.3 The English version of these Terms prevails over translations.
19.4 The Agreement does not create a partnership or joint venture between you and us.
19.5 No waiver of any term constitutes a waiver of future breaches.
